Isabell M. Welpe holds the Chair for Strategy and Organization at the Technische Universität München in Munich, Germany. Her research interests are in digital transformation of companies, business model innovation, the impact of digital technologies on the economy and organizations and the future of leadership and work/organizational design.

Isabell M. Welpe studied management at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich, Germany and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Boston, USA. In addition, she completed an MSc at the London School of Economics. She is a research fellow at the University College London.

Isabell Welpe teaches Strategy and Business Model Innovation, Digital Transformation, Leadership, Organizational Design, and Managing People and Organizations. Her research is covered in the media, such as the Harvard Business Manager, MIT Sloan Management Review.
